Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

<p>Tell us the best date for the competition</p>
        <label for="pickdate">Preferred Date:</label>

<!-- Add your code below this line -->
        <input type="date" id="pickdate" name="date"><input>

<!-- Add your code above this line -->

I correctly added the id, name, and the pick date but for some reason, it isn’t working, any help can be given?

Thanks,

You added an extra input element after the first input element. The instructions only said to add an input tag and not two. The test you were failing said Your code should add one input tag for the date selector field.
