Add Borders Around your Elements (class="thick-green-border")

Tell us what’s happening:

I’m having trouble adding a second class element (class=“thick-green-border”) into the img element. I tried adding the .thick-green-border code into the style element, but it didn’t work.

Your code so far

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
  }

  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: Monospace;
  }

  .smaller-image {
    width: 100px;
    border-width: 10px;
    border-style: solid;
    border-color: green;
  }
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<img class="smaller-image" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p class="red-text">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>

css
.thick-green-border {border: solid 5px #090;}
html
<img class="smaller-image thick-green-border" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">

I used a colon : after class1 and after class2 to overcome this.

Here’s my code:

Class “Smaller Image” and Class “Thick Green Border” Under the Style element:

.smaller-image {

width: 100px;

}

.thick-green-border {

border-width: 10px;

border-color: green;

border-style: solid;

}

Then in my “img” code I used Class1 and Class2, and colons:

A cute orange cat lying on its back.

I hope this helps guys.
