I am in chapter 3 of my assignment and I am trying to upload an image on to note ++ for some reason I can not view it I may have it saved in the wron folder how to I combine all of my files to one folder ? I think that is why the browser is not finding the image

Your code so far

<h1>Hello</h1>

Your browser information:

Your Browser User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0.

If you are using note ++, then I would assume you have downloaded the image to your computer somewhere. I don’t know how you are trying to reference the image, because you did not post any of your code. If you can copy/paste your code into a reply to this thread or edit your original post to include the code you have now, we can better assist you of where to put your image file.

In case you just want to put your image in the same folder as your html file which will display the image, you would have an img element like below. I am assuming the name of your image file is myImageFile.jpg for this example.

<img src="myImageFile.jpg" alt="image description">

If instead you have a special image folder (i.e. let’s call it images) within the folder where your html file is located, then you would write:

<img src="images/myImageFile.jpg" alt="image description">

By the way, when you copy/paste your code into a forum post, precede it with a line of three backticks and follow it with a line of three backticks to make easier to read. See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.
