Im having trouble understanding exactly what syntax to follow to target offset-X and offset-Y, Sure hope i did not post in the wrong thread pleas help me out guys 
You dont need to divide blur-radius and spread-radius. Its already included in the box-shadow property in the last two values. Just put there zeros and that should work.

Yes thank you @Dida99 i appreciate your feedback i was finally able to fully grasp the concept …id ran into confusion when i searched in w3 schools and it directed me to outline s and ect.
