Build a Survey Form us #6 not covered in curriculum

Tell us what’s happening:
User Story #6:“If I enter an email that is not formatted correctly, I will see an HTML5 validation error.”

How to do this was not in one of the previous lessons. I’ve looked up some ways to do it, but so far no “error message” method is working form me.

I attempted the example on this page in the “Customized error messages” section, but it simply doesn’t work in my code. I’m amazed it worked in the example.

Sorry, I just realized that my form element opened after the email and name inputs. That was the mistake.
