Create a Horizontal Line Using the hr Element - SOLUTION

Tell us what’s happening:

It is a kind of bug. For some reason the solution is only accepted if you not only add the hr tag, but change the implementation of the em tag for the paragraph as well. In the challenge code the em tag is implemented inside the p tag. But it should be wrapped around the p tag. Otherwise the hr solution is not accepted.

Your code so far

<style>
  h4 {
    text-align: center;
    height: 25px;
  }
  p {
    text-align: justify;
  }
  .links {
    text-align: left;
    color: black;
  }
  .fullCard {
    width: 245px;
    border: 1px solid #ccc;
    border-radius: 5px;
    margin: 10px 5px;
    padding: 4px;
  }
  .cardContent {
    padding: 10px;
  }
  .cardText {
    margin-bottom: 30px;
  }
</style>
<div class="fullCard">
  <div class="cardContent">
    <div class="cardText">
      <h4><s>Google</s>Alphabet</h4>
      <hr>
      <em><p>Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were <u>Ph.D. students</u> at <strong>Stanford University</strong>.</p></em>
    </div>

Hey Jolein,
This challenge has a bug so skip it and move on.
It will not affect your certificates, so do not worry while skipping.
Hope it helps.

Thanks @aditya_p! I worked around it thanks to someone elses comment about this challenge. But I did not know it is possible to skip challenges and just move on. How do you do that? (it is not something I would like to do, but I am just curious how it works :slight_smile:

Just go to the curriculum and select the next challenge and it will work.
In freecodecamp it is not compulsory for you to complete all the challenges but you have to complete the projects to get certificates.
