Create Chromebook Apps using JavaScript

The guys over at droidscript.org have just released a new version of their Android app ‘DroidScript’ that supports creating Chromebook apps using standard JavaScript (these are native apps, not just HTML based apps too).

This is pretty cool, because if you have Chromebook that includes the PlayStore, then you can actually create Chromebook apps directly on a Chromebook… which was pretty darn difficult to achieve previously.

Also, if you have an Android phone, you can create apps for that using the same IDE, which is a bonus :slight_smile:

Is anyone else using this app ?
