CS degree or CIS degree?

Hi, I am pursuing a computer science degree right now, but I am thinking a change to a Computer Information System degree because they have courses that I want to take. The CIS degree seems to focus web development. I think if I take a lot of math classes I would forget them later and not stick in my brain. (Computer Science)
However, my questions are getting a Computer Science degree would help to get a job a lot of area than Computer Information System degree? Which one are more opportunities to get a tech degree? I appreciate any help!

They prepare you for different career paths. If the subjects covered in the CIS curriculum are more interesting to you than the CS classes, then you would probably find a career in that area more interesting too.
