CSS Color- Hex, RGB Values, and actual color names

Why are there multiple ways of using color codes in elements? Isn’t the easiest way for this to be to just write out the color?

While the color names may be enough for some, many designers will use the functional methods so that they can better fit whatever color scheme they want. It’s like being stuck with red, blue, green, and yellow paint (that you can’t mix), but what if you want a different color? What if you want a lighter shade of gray? You can’t do that with default color names.

That will happen when staring at code 24/7. Good luck!
