Django: makemigrations error

Django: makemigrations error
0

Admittedly I’m a newbie to django and I’m getting the following error when trying to run “python manage.py makemigrations”

I’m trying to add a new field in to my class Product(models.Model):
featured = models.BooleanField()

Code

from django.db import models

# Create your models here.
class Product(models.Model):
	title 		= models.CharField(max_length=120) # max_length = required
	description     = models.TextField(blank=True, null=True)
	price 		= models.DecimalField(decimal_places=2, max_digits=10000)
	summary 	= models.TextField()
	featured        = models.BooleenField()  #only new added line

Error: AttributeError: module 'django.db.models' has no attribute 'BooleenField'

command:
python manage.py makemigrations <enter>

Compare this line:

featured        = models.BooleenField()  #only new added line

to what you said you added in the text of this post, and I think you’ll see the issue. :slight_smile: (hint: compare the lines character-by-character if you are still stuck)

Thanks for the help. Yeah I figured it out a bit ago. Small error threw me off on a tangent for far too long.

These things happen!
