Portfolio Review

Hey…!!!, I have completed my last project: (Personal Portfolio). I would love it if you can just take a few minutes to check it out and give your reviews/comments. Below is the link to the page.

My Personal Portfolio

##Thanks

Hi. I was a little taken back by the request for my name.

But I like the way you used it as a personal greeting.

Overall it looks and feels great.

I would just like to see the name request handled in a little more personable way.

I suggest getting rid of the alert prompting for user’s name. Your page should just load without having to jump through any hoops.

Next, I suggest adding a border to project images.

Finally, I would suggest shrinking the size of the contact icons when the page width gets smaller.

Finally, I would suggest shrinking the size of the contact icons when the page width gets smaller. To accomplish that, I suggest changing the media query for max-width of 850px to max-width of 900px and then making the following changes to that media query.

	.grid-container{
		grid-template-columns: auto;
	}
	.social-media{
		margin-top: 60px;
        grid-gap: 25px;
	}

It really depends on what you want to accomplish.

I personally don’t want to give my name immediately when I don’t know why you want it. I admit to being slightly paranoid on that level.

It may be easier to open a dialogue after the intro like : Let’s connect, what is your name?

Does that make sense?

Looks good. You may wish to amend the project thumbnails so they’re more in proportion, as they currently look a bit stretched out. I hope this helps.

#8

More personable - invite them to join you in a dialogue by requesting their name after they have entered your site.

It’s more user friendly…
