Hi. I was a little taken back by the request for my name.
But I like the way you used it as a personal greeting.
Overall it looks and feels great.
I would just like to see the name request handled in a little more personable way.

It really depends on what you want to accomplish.
I personally don’t want to give my name immediately when I don’t know why you want it. I admit to being slightly paranoid on that level.
It may be easier to open a dialogue after the intro like : Let’s connect, what is your name?
Does that make sense?

Looks good. You may wish to amend the project thumbnails so they’re more in proportion, as they currently look a bit stretched out. I hope this helps.

More personable - invite them to join you in a dialogue by requesting their name after they have entered your site.
It’s more user friendly…
