freeCodeCamp Challenge Guide: Create a Custom Heading

Using div and the custom grid layout we can create our own heading.

<div class="row">
   <div class="col-xs-8">
     <h2 class="text-primary text-center">CatPhotoApp</h2>
   <div class="col-xs-4">
     <a href="#"><img class="img-responsive thick-green-border" src=""></a>

The biggest screwy part for me was where to put the /div’s. You can’t finish the div off inside the h2 or img element; It has to finish outside of it.

my code looks just like this and it’s telling me to make sure my div elements have a closing tag… been stuck for hours what am I doing wrong?

Yeah i have the same problem

You have two sets of

therefore, you should have two closing

You need to put two closing tags instead of just one at the end because you have multiple tags open. I was confused for awhile also

Your right, i was stuck on this for a bit too and was like wth let me try this so i put two closing tags back to back and it worked.

Big help, thank you!

I think this example may need a closing div tag.

What would happen if, rather than making divs with classes, if we added another class to the heading or img tag?
