Hello, I’m new here. I’m from Brazil and I’d like to know if the FCC really matters, I’m taking a course at a Brazilian institution, but I’d like to learn more.
It really depends on what you’re looking for. FCC is an awesome baseline curriculum to keep you focused on what’s important. You’ll need other resources along the way (but that’s also true for a degree).
If you’re looking for a good starting point to learn web development, it’s worth it.
If you’re comparing FCC to a traditional degree, it’s hard to compare the two.

I think it can be. If nothing else, some of the challenges give you a new perspective on technique.
I never would have thought to try a Tic-Tac-Toe or Simon game. They were fun challenges that let me extend my knowledge of SVG.
All this to say, if you aren’t busy or want some extra practice, it isn’t a bad way to spend that time.
