Getting started with Node.js

Hello friends, I have worked on android projects for the past 1 year with backend as PHP and MYSQL. Currently I started loving Node.js and my goal is to become a good backend developer first then full stack dev.

I have quite good knowledge of Java, c++, MYSQL and little bit PHP.

I don’t know anything about javascript.

Please guide me on how should I start with this goal.

  1. How to go on FCC map.Should I directly go to back-end part (https://www.freecodecamp.org/map-aside#collapseBack-End-Development-Certification) or first learn javascript from front-end certification and then proceed to backend part.

Please guide me to achieve my goal

The back end section assumes that you understand JavaScript, so I would definitely do the front end section first if you are new to JS. Plus, you’ll need a basic understanding of front end anyway. In theory, you could skip the data visualization.
