Good software or software delivered on time

Hackernoon recently had an article that discussed what’s more important? delivered on deadline compared to always having good software. Quite frankly, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s always about good software regardless if you hit the deadline or not.

I’ve had some recent experiences both in corporate and in freelance that reinforces my opinion. There’s nothing more demoralizing than shitty software. Yes, time is an important factor and things are on the line (money, time to market, etc…) but having empathy for the end user, I really want them to be happy.

Sorry for the rant, just had to get it off my chest.
