Got my backend certificate, what do I do next?

Just got my backend certificate today, but am not sure what to do next.
How do I sign up for the non profit projects? Should I start freelancing instead?

Please help!

You could do a number of things:

  • Get the data visualization certificate.
  • Contribute to open source projects on GitHub
  • Get in touch with the non-profit team - I think that’s on hold and being switched to open source for good but I could be wrong so double check.
  • If you think you’re ready you could try to get a developer job

I finished data visualization as well.

Do you think I would be able to start freelancing with the skills from completing FCC?

You can do anything you set your mind to. The one thing I’ll say is keep learning new technologies and practicing - it keeps you a smart developer.

If you email the freeCodeCamp team they can give you information on the non-profit projects / open source for good.

If you do open source for good - you’ll be more prepared to develop in a developer job. Good luck on whatever you decide to do next :slight_smile:
