Help! - Image styling on tribute page

Hey everyone! So I added the image to my tribute page as a thumbnail, but the left and right borders of the tumbnail are much thicker than the top and bottom. I’ve tried messing with the padding, borders, and a few other things, but can’t figure it out. The thickness also changes depending on the view screen size. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here is what I have so far:

P.S. Don’t mind my nerdiness :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Haley,

I am viewing your page on an acer maybe 10" screen, and your thumbnail looks fine to me. There is a thin border on the top, right, and left with a larger border for the caption on the bottom.

Interesting. My screen is about 10", but when I view the page in full screen, this is what I see:

This is what I see, interesting isn’t it?

@bilgiprog, You might have loaded the page when I was tinkering with things.

I figured it out! I had to set thumbnail img to 100% width. I am confused as to why the thumbnail didn’t just scale to the width of my image when I applied it (that was before I used columns and offsets), so if anyone can explain that to me, that would be great!
