Help with monitor upgrade

Hey all,

I am currently using an 19 inch Samsung monitor with resolution 1366x768 as an external to my laptop.

I want to upgrade to a 1080p monitor, but I am really torn apart between 24 and 27 inch monitor size.
If you guys have used it, please tell me your thoughts.

Also, I will be using it for development and design work, and light gaming once in a while.

(I have never been this confused, really…:tired_face::tired_face::tired_face::tired_face::tired_face:
Please help:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:)

You don’t need a particular size monitor, as you know
If the cost difference is within your budget and your workspaohas the room for it, then the 27" would probably be a better experience.

Yes, I have space for a 27" one, but I’ve seen divided reviews for 1080p at that size…
Some say that its great, others say that it looks too pixelated…:no_mouth::no_mouth::no_mouth::no_mouth::no_mouth:

If youa re going to use the monitor for design work and gaming it is better to chosoe 4K monitors that cna provide you with a better picture but in this case you must ahve a powerful PC to work with high graphics. In general 1080p monitors are widely used for gaming and other purpsoes as they do not require a super-strong machine. I ahve read a lot about resolutions andif you are interested in lloking through other parametres for choosing the best monitor instead of inches you can take a look at this article https://rocketfiles.com/articles/1080p-vs-1440p-vs-4k-which-resolution-is-best-for-gaming. As for me, when I’ll change my monitor I’ll look for monitors that cna provide me with high-quality 4K resolution.
