Help with padding in grid layout

Hello, I am trying to complete the portfolio project with a css grid layout. I cannot seem to figure out how to get rid of the padding between some of my text. There is currently space between my footer items (.footer-head .footer-h2) and my header items (#name #heading). I cannot figure out how to minimize or control this space. I know the naming and overall setup is very messy, but I just hacked this together trying to get the hang of css grid.

ok add this code to your css

for the footer section. You forgot to add margin: 0; to both .footer-head and .footer-h2

.footer-head{
  background: blue;
  padding-bottom: 0px;
  margin: 0;
}
.footer-h2{
  padding: 0px;
  background: pink;
  margin: 0;
}

for the top section #name and #heading do the samething add the margin: 0;

just copy the code bellow let me know… =)

#name{
background: purple;
margin: 0;
}
#heading{
background: pink;
margin: 0;
}
