I have been trying to find any internship opportunities online to no outcome. I want to enrol in one as i end my first year in engineering. I want to experience the environment of software companies and know what is it like to be there and contribute to projects and working in teams. I may not have much experience but willing to learn. Any help is appreciated greatly. Thank you!
I would look into whether your college has an office dedicated to helping students get jobs (at US colleges this is often called the Career Center). Your school might have relationships with local companies and someone can help you get in contact with recruiters.
On thing I can tell you from experience is that with only one year of college, you will have to work very hard to find an internship. Most businesses require a minimum level of coursework/experience. It can be done though (I’ve done it).
