Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

  $(document).ready(function() {

  $("button").removeClass("btn-default");
   $(".btn").removeClass("btn-default");
   $("#target1").removeClass("btn-default");
  });

</script>

<!-- Only change code above this line. -->

<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#left-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="left-well">
        <button class="btn target" id="target1">#target1</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target2">#target2</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target3">#target3</button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#right-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="right-well">
        <button class="btn target" id="target4">#target4</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target5">#target5</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target6">#target6</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

First thing: You wrote two posts on the forum for the same problem. One is enough, write a message to bring it back up but if you want a quicker answer go to the gitter chat :slight_smile:

Second: the instruction is: Let's remove the btn-default class from all of our button elements. So you don’t really need to modify the addclass methods that are originally here. (you can reset your code)

Third: The code you provide here is missing a <script> opening tag.

Hello @X140hu4
Thanks for your opinion, actually I am new this platform and join today. I can’t fix this issue… I will try to fix this issue your instruction but not successful. please check my code.

my code here:----

<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("button").addClass("animated");
    $(".btn").addClass("shake");
    $("#target1").addClass("animated shake btn-primary");
  });
</script>

<!-- Only change code above this line. -->

<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#left-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="left-well">
        <button class="btn target" id="target1">#target1</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target2">#target2</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target3">#target3</button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#right-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="right-well">
        <button class="btn target" id="target4">#target4</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target5">#target5</button>
        <button class="btn target" id="target6">#target6</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into the forum, remember to precede it with a line of three backticks and follow it with a line of three backticks to make easier to read. See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

@X140hu4 gave you good advice. You are supposed to be using the removeClass function on this challenge. I do not see you using that function to remove the “btn-default” class from the button elements. The example shows you how to do it for elements with an id=“target2”. You may want to go back a few challenges to refresh your memory on how to use JQuery to reference element types vs classes vs ids.

This will be the last hint I give you, after that it would just be giving you the solution and you copy pasting it…

Using the same code that is used to add the animated class to the button element, you can add one line of code in the script to remove the btn-default class on the button elements.
