As you can see in the screenshot, the requirements were met, yet they are not acknowledged.

Or am I missing something?

Are you using an extension that modifies CSS to add a custom dark theme? If so, it will break CSS tests because it replaces your CSS.

freeCodeCamp has a dark mode built in. You can choose it on your settings page.

Right, I just changed both.
The one in the Curriculum is called Night Mode.
