Id attributes to footer tag?

Tell us what’s happening:
I hate that it had to come to this. I did a search on the forum for similar questions to the same problem but still couldnt narrow down the issue or answer.
Basically "The footer tag should have an id attribute set to “footer”.
Ive tried adding id= but clearly I’m entirely missing the issue.
Thanks in advance.

Actually, that is what you are missing here, add it to <footer>

I tried adding it before, inside, and after but to no avail :man_facepalming:

I tried your code with the id and it passed, maybe you should try that and send a screenshot of what you have tried with the error in it.

please excuse my dated vista OS and I promise I dont use yahoo messenger and havent in over a decade LOL!

There it is, your id should be assigned a value of footer, it means id="footer" and it should go inside the <footer> tag

I tried that as well before and still a no go… Thanks for your patience. :frowning:

You are almost there, inside in the sense, i meant <footer id=""> here.
