Img-responsive not working for mobile

I just got my Bootstrap unzipped and I used the img-responsive attribute for the logo that is to appear on the top left.
Here is the code:

<div class="row">
         <div class="col-md-6"> <img...... > </div>
         <div class="col-md-6"> TEXT </div>
</div>

while this appears fine in the computer, the col divs appear on separate lines on the mobile even though I have used the img-responsive class.

That code should work if you’re using Bootstrap 3. img-responsive doesn’t exist in Bootstrap 4.

#3

well I have img-responsive in Bootstrap 4. I’ve checked it in the source file and the documentation lists it too.

#4

I can’t find img-responsive anywhere in the documentation and in the github repo. Could you link it?

Also if you could post your whole code, that will be better.

According to the documentation, they say to use .img-fluid

#7

That completely messed up the page. C’mon!
Please post a screenshot of where that’s written. Maybe I was making some syntax error. But the bootstrap.css doesn’t have anything like .img-fluid

That’s the documentation for bootstrap 4, you posted documentation for bootstrap 3. Either use bootstrap 3, or follow the documentation for 4.

That explains it then! Thanks a lot. (I was thinking I had Bootstrap 3 coz I made the download from here. I’m sure you are right.
