Your code so far

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
    font-family:Lobster;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

Use an h2 CSS selector to change the font.

The font-family is not supposed to be in .red-text.

Hey, I am facing similar issue and want to understand why is it wrong? I am basically using a class .red-text which has font-family and assigning it to h2 right, then why is it wrong?

Can you post your code?

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
    font-family: lobster;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: monospace;
  }
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
  <p class="red-text">Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

  <div>
    <p>Things cats love:</p>
    <ul>
      <li>cat nip</li>
      <li>laser pointers</li>
      <li>lasagna</li>
    </ul>
    <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
    <ol>
      <li>flea treatment</li>
      <li>thunder</li>
      <li>other cats</li>
    </ol>
  </div>

  <form action="/submit-cat-photo">
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" checked> Indoor</label>
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Outdoor</label><br>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality" checked> Loving</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Lazy</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Energetic</label><br>
    <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>
    <button type="submit">Submit</button>
  </form>
</main>

You should add a CSS rule for h2, then set the font-family there. The font-family shouldn’t be in the rules for .red-text.

But in my code, the h2 is changing to Lobster font too, right? So, why do I need to create an h2 CSS again?

Yes, it changes the <h2>'s font, but it also changes the next <p>'s font, since it also has the red-text class.
