Is it possible to change Codepen's background color

Hello,

I have a hard time reading what is typed in CSS/HTMLsection of Codepen…
The background (seemingly dark green) does not allow me to read anything that has red font like :<body>.

I can’t start my tribute page because of this.

Question: Is there a way to change the background to white?

Thank You

I’m not seeing anything that’s red in the HTML/CSS sections. Can you link to your project, or post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

There is the red font under css panel

Thank You

Addendum:

I Just found where to change the Codepen background.

Sorry but I’m still very newbie and it takes time to get my bearings around Codepen.

Well, I am curious now. How do you change your background in Codepen?

I’m also interested to know where the option is. Are you color blind? I’ve never thought of the red/orange font against a dark background being a problem.

To change colors, click on your profile and go to settings. There are different themes you can select from there.

On a different note: You might be colorblind my guy, the background appears almost black and the text orange, there is a lot of contrast there.

OK, here is how I found it:

  1. Started at :my tribute page.( It can be any page for that matter, even starter page)
  2. Click the rightmost icon ( one after the "Change View)
  3. From the drop down list click “Settings” (last line on the drop down list)
  4. New page opens where you will see Syntax Highlighting. Fonts…
  5. Make your choice. (DARK THEME or LIGHT THEME)
  6. Don’t forget to save the settings…

As of me being color blind:

DARK THEMES (Themes is RED!!)
LIGHT THEMES (gray bkg, LIGHT color= Teal, THEMES color = Red-ish Brown).
Under FONTS: in text: "Monaco was designed…: where (Monaco is light blue )
Save All Settings button: Light green background.

I guess I’m not color blind yet. The original black background taxes my eyes a lot. It could be due to old age, to screen resolution or something else. Anyway the white background beats any type of contrast.
