I can’t write “dollar” also

I guess it’s because I have a french mode keyboard…, but, if, then why the letters I write are the good ones?
how to fix that? should I give up ubunutu, or freecodecamp?

If you can type the # and the $ anywhere except the challenge editor, it’s probably an fCC bug. Please submit an issue on the GitHub repo.

thank’s for your advise :slight_smile:

for the moment I can say this issue happens only on my Ubuntu computer ;
windows is ok.
if it happens to others ask them if they are on linux, there are a few (long)solutions

best regards

hi again

with ubuntu, I had to change the language that was obsolete, and desactivate one or two parameters, then find out how the keyboard is interpreted now I # like a god !!! $!à@)=}#####
