To add an id to an element, let’s say <h1>, do the following:

<h1 id="the_name_of_the_id_here"> This is a headline</h1>

The same goes with <footer> which needs the id with a name of footer.

Jump to Bottom

Jump to Bottom

What is so mistake in these code. Please explain.

<h2 id="footer">Jump to Bottom</h2>
According to your code your link takes you to h2 instead of the footer. In order to jump to the bottom to the footer, you should give your footer an id with a name of footer instead of giving your h2 an id named footer.

Hey @Manish2261,
It is always advisable to make a separate topic for your question. Always use the “Ask For Help” button on challenge page. It posts your code properly as well as gives the link to the challenge.

Also use the “preformattted text(</>)” button in the reply window to put your code on forum.

Make sure to overwrite the anchor hypertext reference link of value http://freecatphotoapp.com with the required value #footer and change it’s contents to that of Jump to Bottom from the original cat photos.
Then add a id attribute to the footer tag with the value footer.
Hope this helps others.
