This part here is not quite correct. Change it so that the “id=footer” part is inside the opening footer element like this:

<footer id= (but use quotes around the word footer in the id)

Here is what you have to do:
change the a href line to
<a href= "#footer"> Jump to Bottom </a>
change the footer line to
<footer id= "footer" </footer>

What the op (original poster) did with the ‘name=’ for footer shouldn’t be there. The # links to the footer where the footer has its id set to “footer”.
