My code not passing, not sure why

Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

<style>
  div {
    hover {transform: scale(1.1);
    }
    width: 70%;
    height: 100px;
    margin:  50px auto;
    background: linear-gradient(
      53deg,
      #ccfffc,
      #ffcccf
    );

  }

</style>

<div></div>

Your hover needs to be apart of your selector not the styling. div:hover

Change this:

div { hover {transform: scale(1.1); }
to this:
div:hover {
transform: scale(1.1);
}

div {
width: 70%;
height: 100px;
margin: 50px auto;
background: linear-gradient( 53deg, #ccfffc, #ffcccf );
}
