My Personal Portfolio - Check it out

Please take a look at my personal portfolio. Please let me have your thoughts especially considering I did not use any templates, I did everything from scratch.

Looks nice , well done
Little styling is needed for footer

It is a good start, good luck with your journey.

You’ve done a great job. It looks good and now I learn how to put the facebook and linkedin and twitter and google plus symbol in my contact. Keep up with good work.

It looks really good! Very smooth and professional. It gave me the idea to use background images in mine, which for some reason I hadn’t ever thought about.

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you manage to get transparent divs for your different sections, without making your images and text transparent? I tried googling, but apparently this is kind of a tough thing to do with CSS.

Hi, thanks for taking a look at my portfolio. You can read more on the opacity issue here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_image_transparency.asp

When using the opacity property to add transparency to the background of an element, all of its child elements become transparent as well.

So, I set it at 0.9

Thanks, will work on it.
