I haven’t done this project (or even this section) so my only inputs is that I would darken the transparency to make the white text stand out a bit more. Or maybe make the text larger since the box can handle more room. Also, maybe make the buttons a little larger too. To not make the page too long, you could bring the box up closer to the header text.
Besides the style elements, it looks good! It works every time I click next quote and they do seem random

Like the look, and your choice of quotes. But a suggestion - you have two arrays with no actual connection, one for quotes and a second for authors. By using two separate parts, it can easily become “brittle.”
Instead, how about a basic quote object, with two properties? If you have an array of quote objects, each contains all the data it needs to render your quote?
