NOT - indexOF() String

What would be a better solution IF … the string has multiples of the character in the string your searching for AND you need the index of the character you actually searched for and NOT the first character ?

Thanks !

Well, if you’ve got a string “aaaaaaaa” and you search for “a”, which “a” should it return? You’re actually searching for “a”, but it doesn’t know which one. Can you show an example of what you mean?

Hi Dan. Thanks for the reply…

So in a string of " aaAaaa" what I was looking for was to return each string with an index of where that string was… so, something like
a,0
a,1
A,2…

In this way ( and for my current challenge) I could possibly inject a space before that capital letter ?\

I hope that makes the question clearer… thank you !
