Please help! I've tried everything i know for the image to display on the page but its not, I've been working on this for days now
Can you share your code/site via codepen?
please i don’t understand how you mean cause am just new here.
I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make easier to read.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (
</>) will also add backticks around text.
Note: Backticks are not single quotes.
The thing you are trying to link is not an image. You’re trying to link directly from Reuters’ - they are protections in place that they have implemented to stop you doing that, one of which is that the URL there does not point at an image. You can’t just use other people’s news photos.
what should i do to get it right please cause am confuse?
If you click on the link:
it doesn’t take you to a picture.
You need to choose one that is going to take you to a picture like:
Don’t try to use images you aren’t allowed to use, it isn’t too complicated. Use ones from Wikipedia or wherever, so where that has freely available images.
Thanks i have used another image link from google and it worked
