Link to the challenge:
https://learn.freecodecamp.org/responsive-web-design/basic-css/size-your-images

You have;

<img class .smallar-image {width: 100px;}/>

Should be:

<img class= “smaller-image”

You apply the .smaller-image {width:100px;} in between the style tags!

Hope this helps and works!

No, it didn’t work @codebarron

im stuck too i cant get the second part

OK, the class “smaller-image” needs to be applied to the <img> tag that already exists:

<img class="smaller-image" src=“https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat” alt=“A cute orange cat lying on its back.”>

You then add the width in between the tags;

<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
  }

  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, monospace;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: monospace;
  }
  .smaller-image {
    width: 100px;
  }
</style>

Hope this helps??? It does complete the challenge, maybe go over how to use classes again?

Hi! I’m having a problem with this lesson as well. The code is correct, but it keeps on saying “Your image should be 100 pixels wide.” even though it already is.
