I was browsing through twitter and found this tweet about an individual offering to buy a book/send you the funds for a book if you describe how it would help your career and if you showed him what book you desired.
I thought it sounded a little far fetched but I figured I’d give it a shot. Turns out he sent me the funds through PayPal and I turned around and bought the book almost immediately!
I made the mistake of not tweeting the book price plus the shipping but hey, it was like $2 out of pocket for a book I’ve been wanting to get for a long time.
I was hesitant about sharing this because I feel like a hug of death might happen, but on the other hand this might really help some people who are short on funds.
