Prioritize One Style Over Another Color Help

Tell us what’s happening:
Can’t seem to change my font color to pink. Tried different variations.
Any help would be great! :slight_smile:

Your code so far

<style>
  body {
    background-color: black;
    font-family: monospace;
    color: green;
  }

  .pink-text {
    color: pink;
  }

</style>

<h1 class:"pink-text">Hello World!</h1>

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36.

The problem is here:

<h1 class:"pink-text">Hello World!</h1>

When you assign a class in HTML, you use an equals sign, not a colon.
