My progress in Html & CSS showed some 70-80 modules completed. After the update, it’s saying only 49 courses complete. Am I to do all of that over again?

The number that you used to see in the top-right corner was not the number of completed challenges. It was something called brownie points
Here, you can see that while I ha buttload of points (I’ve been here a long time) I’ve only actually submitted 351 challenges.
You don’t have to do anything. You can pick and choose whatever challenges you like.
