deleted due to me leaving the file permissions open and someone deleting everything.
I guess lesson learned for me. good ol backups though.
Answering my own question. It’s a Chrome Browser thing, they’ve decided to not allow the geolocation feature from unsecure sites.
I tested my site using Microsoft Edge browser and it works.
Works in Firefox, doesn’t work in Chrome. Chrome requires a secure connection for the geolocation API to work. If you use codepen or github you can use a secure connection. You can also choose to use an ip-location API.
