Where can I find python projects to contribute to outside Github? I find Github projects rather overwhelming.

There are some new comer friendly projects in Github if you are interested in ,and if you are new to projects and they are maybe easier to start with, I just began trying one of them so I can’t give further opinion, but according to one article in another blog (I don’t have the link anymore) these projects are suitable for newcomers and the members prepared some steps to introduce newcomers to the projects, the name of the projects I noted are: (coala, oppia, kinto and fossasia).
I don’t have idea about other platforms than github, maybe others in the forum will advise.

Thank you Hamopyt19, I am looking into it as we speak. Maybe more members will have more project names for us.
