I am on the first lesson and I followed the instructions but when I press run tests it does nothing no matter how long I wait for it to do something.

If you are on IE or Edge, then it is possible you get this problem, Chrome works better for FCC challenges, FCC challenges doesn’t support IE, if it still doesn’t work try clearing your cache or reset the test and start again.
