Suggestion for Open Source Contribution

Hi!

I have finished the front end part of the course and I am quite deep in the back end. I also learned d3.js, although I did not do the Data Viz curriculum.

The question is: can someone point me toward an open source project I can realistically contribute to? There is so much stuff out there that I have no idea where to start searching from.
