Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("button").addClass("animated");
$(".btn").addClass("shake");
$("#target1").addClass("btn-primary");

  });
</script>

<!-- Only change code above this line. -->

<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#left-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="left-well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target animated shake btn-primary shake" id="target1">#target1</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target2">#target2</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target3">#target3</button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#right-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="right-well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target4">#target4</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target5">#target5</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target6">#target6</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

When I copy and paste your code into the challenge it works fine.

However I notice that your HTML for #target1 is different from the one provided. You must have edited it before writing the code and forgotten to reset it to its original state. Just remove all the additional classes.
