Tell us what’s happening:
error : can’t validate “Template strings were used”
I must say I found this challenge pretty confusing, As far as I know, the solution I proposed does use templates litteral to solve the challenge, and the log tells me my string is the same as the one that’s supposed to be output. I’m not too familiar with templates litteral, so I might have missed something, if it is the case please let me know, as I fail to understand what’s wrong with my code
Your code so far
const result = {
success: ["max-length", "no-amd", "prefer-arrow-functions"],
failure: ["no-var", "var-on-top", "linebreak"],
skipped: ["id-blacklist", "no-dup-keys"]
};
function makeList(arr) {
"use strict";
// change code below this line
const resultDisplayArray = [`<li class="text-warning">${arr[0]}</li>`,`<li class="text-warning">${arr[1]}</li>`,`<li class="text-warning">${arr[2]}</li>`];
// change code above this line
return resultDisplayArray;
}
/**
* makeList(result.failure) should return:
* [ <li class="text-warning">no-var</li>,
* <li class="text-warning">var-on-top</li>,
* <li class="text-warning">linebreak</li> ]
**/
const resultDisplayArray = makeList(result.failure);
console.log(resultDisplayArray);
console.log(`<li class="text-warning">no-var</li>,
<li class="text-warning">var-on-top</li>,
<li class="text-warning">linebreak</li>`)
