Hi everyone,

after a long hiatus, I’m back on FCC, going through bêta curriculum this time.

I’ve just uploaded a Tribute Page version on my GitHub page, all feedback is welcome!

Didn’t want to spend too much time on it, basically make it look not horrible and check for the user stories.

Thanks, I do feel that the text needs some fixing, but I’m not finding anything I like after playing around with it a bit. How would you suggest improving the contrast?

If you want your background that way, I would play with some color for the font like #c2e6bc or so.

Link goes to “Push code, every day.” ?
Anyway, found it now.
I like the green baise effect but it doesn’t look good for reading the text.
Maybe have a different background for the main text block.
I also think there is a lot of wasted space at the top of the page. I would try to condense it.

Overall though it’s looking good :+1:

Thanks for your advice!

I liked the strong green background because it felt appropriate for a tribute to a casino player, but it’s true that it made it difficult to make the text look good.

So I ended up choosing a much plainer “just another tribute page” set of colors to make it more readable.

@jeff529 I think you should stick with white or white smoke coloured background,it’ll look more user friendly from the UX point of view. But the work is very much appreciable :+1: .
