#cat-photo-form {
    background: green;
  }

This id selector refers to the form element.

can you give me the screen shot of the code because i have tried everything but nothing is working
il really appreciate

So the instruction is at the end of the explanation:
Try giving your form, which now has the id attribute of cat-photo-form, a green background.

Question:
1- How do you identify an ID element to modify it in CSS?
2- How do you give that element a background of green?

hello x140hu4 can you tell me where is my error im trying my best but its difficult

It is #cat-photo-form. You have written #cat-photo-element.

Thanks, finally I got it right. I did have cat-photo-element, and change to form.
