Use jQuery to Modify the Entire Page

Tell us what’s happening:
Hey guys, I’m faced with the following task image however, as you can see, I have no “body” element in my code. I tried adding a body element (I didn’t forget to close it), everything works on the editor like it should, however, the tests still say I’m not done…

Anyone faced the same problem ?

Cheers

Your code so far

<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("#target1").css("color", "red");
    $("#target1").prop("disabled", true);
    $("#target4").remove();
    $("#target2").appendTo("#right-well");
    $("#target5").clone().appendTo("#left-well");
    $("#target1").parent().css("background-color", "red");
    $("#right-well").children().css("color", "orange");
    $("#left-well").children().css("color", "green");
    $(".target:nth-child(2)").addClass("animated bounce");
    $(".target:even").addClass("animated shake");

  });
</script>

Forgot to mention I reset my code here… but as I mentioned, I added a “body” and gave it the classes “animated hinge”.

You should add those classes to <body> using jQuery’s .addClass() function. You can also target elements using their name, like $('body').

$(“body”).addClass(“animated hingo”);
I did everything that everybody mentioned before , still not working!!!

You probably meant hinge, not hingo

looool I figured that out after almost an hour. thanks
