Well, fellow coders, it’s been an interesting journey. I originally started freeCodeCamp in 2015, but found that it wasn’t possible to juggle with a newborn and a full time job (and a part time student position, as well).
I got a few lessons in, but ultimately, the sleep deprivation brought on by the new kid, along with shifting job responsibilities, caused me to put things on hold. Now, a few years later, and with a second kid, I’m jumping back into it.
It’s a bit daunting, starting this back up again, especially knowing how long it’s going to take me to go through the entire course (probably about 2 years, unless I really find time to put the pedal to the metal), but at this stage I don’t think there’s any turning back.
Anyway, the point of this post:
We can do this! We can harness the power of these coding languages to improve the world and get better jobs! Let’s do it!
