Hi!
I’m Karina and I live in Montreal.

I started freeCodeCamp about a week ago and I’m determined to go to the finish line! I first learned programming last year when I did a Python for Everybody course on Coursera, and I was hooked. I enjoyed the process of problem solving and I love how, with programming, things either work or they don’t. There’s no BS about it!

There are a number of issues I am concerned with, particularly the west’s political system (the so-called democracy) that just doesn’t represent the majority anymore. With my programming knowledge, I hope to create a platform that gives the common folk a voice that is truly heard by the government, without having to resort to violent demonstrations.

I look forward to meeting fellow coders!

Hi!!

My name is Ursh, I’m from NYC. I graduated college a year ago in Journalism/Media and decided that it wasn’t the route I wanted to take for my career. I’m learning to code because it’s creative and challenging and mentally stimulating. It’s a field where you never stop learning and there are so many opportunities. I want to eventually get into hardware with Arduino/Raspberry Pi so that I can create art installations.

So far, I’ve been learning through The Web Developer Bootcamp on Udemy and Flatiron School. I just started fCC and I’m going to start the #100DaysOfCode challenge to stay more committed.

Hi,

I’m Lorna. I currently volunteer for a charity/non-profit in Scotland.

I’ve only been doing freeCodeCamp for about 2 days- just finished the html and css section.

It’d be great to become a web developer and work remotely but that’s perhaps getting a bit ahead of myself…

Hi, I’m Federico, i’m learning code to understand better what lies behind creating an online enviroment where people like me (i’m a UX researcher/Designer) need constant adjustment or new features.
I?m starting to understand how code works thanks to freeCodeCamp tutorial, just made the basic one, and I hope I will be able to truly get inside the logic of content making from the root.
Cheers!

Hi Campers!

My name is Sandra and I work as a technical specialist in the digital advertising industry.
I’m pretty familiar with code, but I wanted to strengthen my skills and build new ones.
I’ve learned code in college, on the job, w3schools, and through Udemy.

So happy to have found this resource and excited to learn as much as I can.

Hi all,

Brand new to freecodecamp and I’m here to say hi.
I’m currently studying a degree in full stack web development here in Ireland, but I stumbled upon freecodecamp and it seems really usefull.

Since I’m already studying at 3rd level Im not here for the certification, but more so the practice, projects, experience, and community which are definately key to building up confidence and mastery of any craft.
The great thing is that there are a couple back-end technologies covered in freecodecamp which do not feature in my degree, so hoping by completing this it will not only solidify my coding skills but also expands my areas of expertise.

Hello! I’m Philipp, 28 year old Nonprofit Director from sunny Phoenix, AZ. After teaching myself Python over the last 6 months I wanted to jump into front-end development to begin work on a couple of applications. Up until this point I have pulled from a variety of resources across the web, including a one month crash course. Enjoying freeCodeCamp and wish every luck in their studies!
