Hey everyone,
I recently lost my job after the company I was working for cut down it’s workforce by almost half.
Being a mobile developer with more than a year of experience, I thought I would fare better at getting my next developer position as opposed to getting my first one, right after college.
Boy, was I wrong.
In the months following my departure, I interviewed at various companies, but was still considered by those companies as a fresh graduate, even though I had substantial professional experience.
Since most articles regarding getting a job in this industry focus around getting your first developer position, I thought about writing my own experiences and sharing some wisdom regarding getting this second job.
I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a read.
I’d love to get your feedback and most importantly, try to help as many junior developers as I can.
